A prestigious history

We are an Italian company, which, with passion and professionalism, has been producing fragrances and beauty products for licensed brands and private labels since 1954. Ours is a family business, now in its third generation, based in Parma, the historic capital of Italian perfumery since the time of Maria Luigia. We put, in synergy with the brands we represent, all our experience and vocation for perfume, to best enhance its intrinsic characteristics and DNA.

1954Fondazione di A.R. Tanzi

Attilio Tanzi, nose and great fan of fragrances, founds the A.R. Tanzi, a company specializing in the creation of perfumes.

Roberto, son of Attilio, constitutes Italart with the specific aim of marketing perfumes of important Italian fashion houses in Italy and around the world. The A.R. Tanzi represents the productive part of the group.

1984Nascita di Italart

1985Marta di Battistoni

From a drawing by Guttuso, the Marta bottle is born, which contains the historic fragrance of Marta Marzotto

The famous designer Pierre Dinand transforms into glass a drawing by Renato Guttuso with the effigy of the God of war. The fragrance, signed Battistoni, will become an icon of the 90s to the present day.

1987Marte, l'essenza del dio della guerra.

1990Maserati: il primo nel suo genere

Italart creates the first perfume of a brand in the automotive sector. The same year it will win the international award of the Academy of Perfume as BEST PACKAGING.

The Genny maison relies on Italart for the creation of the new Eterea women's perfume.

Italart signs an important licensing agreement with the famous Italian designer.

2015Accordo con Roccobarocco

Italart launches the house brand Ipure: the first home fragrances, signed by the famous nose Oliver Pescheaux, with sanitizing properties.

Acquisition of the JR license. The BLACK METAL line is launched in September 2021.
